I think it will probably restore from the spawn locker, or possibly timed aswell.

As for insta cloaking, it may not be possible. They have said the knife will have a cooldown, so that may affect the cloak aswell. I personally think it won't, but it is possible.

I think it will just mean the knife won't regenerate whilst you're cloaked. The same for reloading the pistol, etc.

Despite cloaking, whilst not instant (one and a half seconds to fully cloak I believe), the fact is that once people know you are there, it is very hard to survive.

I'll just revolver snipers following the update I think.

This is due to people being incredibly paranoid and never let a Spy escape. The only other class hated and hunted as much as the Spy is the Medic.

Hated in the same way as a spy? That would be sniper.

Hated for being annoying - demoman.

Medic is hated, just hunted because in a group of enemies, if you kill the thing healing them, you stand a much better chance.

Ah, but the sniper is the closest enemy and his machete virtually insta-kills spies (however if this thing replaces the machete, then that'd be pretty good).


And the medic gets targeted due to keeping his team-mates alive, however the medic also has people to back him up. The spy is on his own.

Try public TF2. Medics aren't appreciated or protected in any form. You occasionally get some players who realise they should look after the Medic, but this is like finding a needle in a haystack. If a Medic is attacked, even when healing someone, they very rarely notice or care.

Pub attitude: Medic = walking dispenser, should he die.. I don't care but I will blame him for dying because Medics should be able to kill Scouts, Pyros and Spies whilst healing me

Medics aren’t hated as far as I’m aware, there the most logical target to go for. As they can practically supply the team with infinite health, there the most dangerous class to leave alive. I always aim for them first.

For Spies, typically if a sniper discovers them they die. The shield is a nice idea but may not be necessary when you know what you’re looking for.

The max is 50 according to the backpack page (and doesn't include base weapons), and Valve have confirmed that in the future unlocks won't need achievements, so you can delete weapons and get them back.

RE: Infinite cloak.

This cloak has some massive disadvantages - You can't recharge from ammo and you can't recharge while moving (as the wording suggests) even while not cloaked. While this will mean you can stay still a long time, your movement is very limited and you have to wait between each cloak dash. I would imagine charging while cloaked will be slow, if at all.
