The power of the Huntsman seems to be similar or weaker to the Sniper rifle.
Viewing the corpses, the Scout, Engineer and Spy all have 2 arrows in them and they are dead. The poor Medic (who was attempting to remove one before he died) has 3 attached to him. If you're going for standard shots, it seems the bow does the same damage as a standard quick shot from the rifle as 2 body quick shots kill the 3 classes and 3 would kill a Medic.

The wall sticking will be hilarious.

I don’t think those corpses will show the true damage formula but its possible. It needs a VERY powerful crit to be a ‘sniper’ weapon. Sniper are slow runners if they don’t die the pray runs away to heal then comes in force to rape you.

All 3 maps look shiny to say the least xD

The PL race is dust but just in the dark (i think);

I love the design and idea behind 'Nucleus', I just hope it plays as good as it looks;

Same goes for 'Sawmill' although It'll probably be crap, more of a tech demo that says "Hey look!!! We made rain!!!...but spinning circular saws sound like the FAN's best friend xP

And what will the razorback replace??? Kukri or SMG??? (Probably SMG, but I'm not sure)

Currently all the new unlockables carry some sort of drawback (or potential drawback depending on what happens) for the spy.

For example, the Huntsman sounds like it could be very useful for discovering disguised spies (or even cloaked ones if the arrow is visibly sticking in a spy whilst the spy runs around in cloak).

This latest one, whilst it shatters after one backstab, the spy cannot backstab instantly (some sort of cool-down period is mentioned) and not top of that it reveals the spy and alerts the sniper to the fact that the spy is there.

Still, playing around these should not be 'too' difficult (I hope), but I'm interested to see if the next unlockable also negatively affects the spy.

I can understand why these things have been done (or may be done, the thing about arrows sticking in disguised or cloaked spies is currently pure speculation), as spies are a good class for removing snipers.

Just my few thoughts on this.

I think the shield will bear a massive movement penalty and be clearly visible. This will make it more of a spy deterrent than a spy stopper, and makes him more vulnerable to all other classes (slower). Seems about fair to me, the sniper has to chose carefully.

not really, you can insta cloak after stabbing anyway, by the time you've unscoped etc. it means you will be long gone. And besides, it helps your team as then he will be paranoid rather than constantly scoping in on the enemy.

I'd agree with that.

I'm all for the movement penalty tbh :) I hate being backstabbed as a Sniper. Atleast it'll let you know exactly when a Spy strkes, and basically gives you a second chance to notice.

I wonder if you only get one per life, or one ammo though or something? :/ Or whether it restores itself lol
