Sorry about not having decent organisation tonight, we're going to try a few other things soon and may keep up with these.

We're still going through with the thing in Clan Private, though, hopefully the team will have time to work together.

Obviously it is slightly unfair as the Staff have been playing together for a lot longer than "just some random members".

Obviously, we would like to have these sorts of connections with the rest of the clan, but sometimes its just not possible. I still think its a good idea, and I think a gather system where we mix the teams up would be a slightly better way of doing it.

better than a team which knows each other for years and even privatly and a team which knows each other for a few month and even randomly from all over Europe, like me and Dopperlancer today. thats 40% of a five man team

Would be hard to keep the same people coming to everything again and again at short notice.

I like this idea if we split the people who play TF2 quite a bit into two groups. These groups can be randomized every couple of months (meaning teams would not be permanently fixed), and we could have mini random matches.

Numbers would not be an issue hopefully, as if someone couldn't play for one of the teams, I'm sure someone on the other team wouldn't mind dropping out (I wouldn't mind tbh).

Why not just have random teams with the people online anyway....I don't like the idea of picking teams, and if someone has to drop out because one person doesn't turn up then that's hardly fair.

I don't see why people want organised matches now...the matches we've been having are only for fun. When we've played TSG it's hardly been about the fact that obviously they have a better team than us, oh and several people who said they would play for us haven't turned up so we've scrambled around to find a team/ asked one of their people to drop out. Also, their team have been playing together for far longer so it's unfair, etc, etc.

The way I see it, the people who are complaining are complaining about stuff that can't really be helped, and seeing as the matches are for fun - next time don't play.

Read my post. Someone from the opposing team can drop out.

It's not fair on the team randomly grouped together compared to the team that have known each other personally for a few years.

I feel it will be more fun if there is a greater degree of organisation here.

I don't see why it's such a big deal...This game is strictly about fun! So the teams don't matter, tell you what, next time the 4 staff can play with +1 and I'll play on the other team. I will have just as much fun with people like Dragon or wolf or chicken - because I always have had good fun playing with them. I will laugh when I kill DHR, and yell at him over ts when he kills me :P.

and if we lose badly, who cares. I've had a good time, I won't in some z0mg play this class, do this, do that, we must win. kind of team.

Also, if one "team" turns up with 9 and one with 10, why should one of the ten drop out? It's not fair and kinda ridiculous!

It must be just me who feels sorry for the other team. It wouldn't be so bad if it was close, but it wasn't, we steam rollered them in my opinion.

It was a fun game, I don't feel sorry for them just like I don't feel like we played like pr0s dropping 30 bombs. It was only a fun game and I had fun, therefore, it was a success in my eyes :)

I think it does. No team can be perfectly balanced, but we (the staff team) do in my opinion have an unfair advantage.

i really like the idea of the 2 random teams. we have enough Members, so if someone cant play just another one joins the game.

i think Wynney doesnt want that kind of random teams, because he is afraid of getting owned, because he's not in the overpwered team anymore :P

maybe you should read that again schlurbi, i don't care what team I'm in, that's why I don't see why it's such a big deal.
