Definitely Fernando Alonso. Even with the large performnce advantage McLaren have over them, Alonso only has to score six more points to secure the title regardless of where Raikkonnen Finnishes (Ha). The Constructors is going to go to the wire, i think it could well be a points draw, with McLaren winning with more victories. Schumacher has finally rlinquished the crown after almost 5 years. Thank God.

How many races are there left? Sorry, I'm not a keen follower of F1.

3. Brazil this weekend and then the Japan and China double header at the end of the year. With Alonso only needing 3 seventh place finishes to win the title, it is all over.

Yes. Alonso is 25 points ahead. Therefore if he scores six more he ca seal the title regardless of where kimi comes.

Right, yeah, I see. 10 points per race win over 3 races is 30 points, so 31 points will clinch it.

OK, harder question now! How many points will he win by?

I reckon, hmmmm, more than 20 points. He has had the most reliable car all season (Other than Tiago Monteiro). If he finishes in the points in each race then Kimi cant close the gap alot. If he gets it below 20 points i will be surprised.

Well, that would mean Kimi would catch up abit, whitch is unlikely (looking at the current results), unless Kimi favours the last 3 tracks.

Possible. Last year raikonnen came second on all three. Thats 24 points. But alonso only needs six, but his record at the tracks is not so good.

Last year alonso was not on the podium on them. I think that hes possibly i the top eight, but maybe not. Renault was in a bit of a pickle at the end of last year. What with firing Jarno Trulli and Jaques Villeneuve coming in. Thery kind of got forgotten about. And they lost second in the constructors championship to BAR. I will find out for monday.

I know that in 2003 (Brazil), Alonso had a massive shunt. The track was in appalling conditions and there was a river of water across the track at turn three. This caused many people to retire. Yet it was Mark Webber in his Jaguar that caused the accident. The ladt corner his car went light and he smashed into the wall. A full course yellow was displayed and the safety car deployed. Yet, more than a minute after Mark's crash, Alonso hit a huge lump of debris at nearly racing speeds. People wondered whether the spaniard was heeding to signals. Apparently not. The crash threw debris all ovcer the track and the race was stopped. Raikkonnen was told he had won on countback, but Jordan managed to prove that the then leader Fisichella had crossed the line before the red flag, so the countback was to lap 56, instead of 55. This meant that Jordan had won thier fourth Grand Prix and Fisichella had won his first.

He has done it. He managed to clinch third place at the Brazilian GP yesterday (Behind the McLarens). Good race too. Alonso let Montoya past by making a mistake at turn one on the second lap. Then JPM just coasted home ahead of Kimi to get McLarens first One-Two finish since the 2001 Austrian GP! And the first of this year (well, if you dont count Ferraris at Indianapolis).

Well DUH! The constructors is still extremly close. McLaren have taken


the lead in the constructors. 164 points to Renaults 162. Renault are going to try the hardest to win that too. If they don't (im sorry to say this) but the best car won. McLaren have been faster all year exept in the first three races.

Anyway, I thought maybe the constructors had already been taken aswell.

There is 18 points up for grabs in each of the final two races. A one two for either team would clinch the title. This is where cars and there drivers put everything to the bottom of the pile and drive for their team.

New news! BAR have been completely bought out by Honda. This and Button and Barrichello driving for them next year will rally help their championship hopes.

Well, there's no point driving for themselves, anymore, might aswell go for the team then.

As for the news, did Honda also have a seperate team before the merger (I don't think so, though I'm not sure) and what does it mean for the cars?

Honda had four wheel drive cars in the early 1960's. The four wheel cars got banmned and honda became a massive engine supplier. They quit in 1994 when Aryton Senna Died at Imola. More info coming

oh, right! I think I remember something about BAR now being the shortest lasting team or something.

It now is. Debuting in 1999 and being bought ut at the end of 2005 is not along time. More info coming>

JAPANESE GP REVIEW

Kimi Raikkonnen won on the last lap. It alomost had Ron Dennis (McLarens owner) in tears. JPM went ut on this last corner of the first lap and Giancarlo Fisichella looked set to win. Yet Raikkonnen pulled more than a 23 second gap before overtaking him on the last lap. Alonso pulled the move of the year, with a pass past M. Schumacher at the 130 R. A 180 MPH hour corner! Guts or what.

New news! New F1 team for 2006! Team Aguri Honda. They will run with Honda engines

New news. Super aguri F1 team has been rejected their application to the grid in 06. They will be re-applying though in te near future to make sure they get in.
