spracklingbank NE side i believe as i entered from hey wood, i'm OUTSIDE a library, i couldn't find an entrance in and some one revived me.

I've added to you to my contacts. I'll be able to recognize you even if you are a zombie.

Here is a strategy to getting your first levels:
1. Find a Hospital that is barricaded to Very Strongly, or less. (Read the wiki entry on barricades.)
2. Keep searching and fill your inventory with First Aid Kits.
3. Make short trips outside and heal zombies. (You still get the xp for that.)
4. Always leave yourself enough Action Points to get back inside. (Fall asleep outside, expect wake up dead.)
5. Repeat this process until you can buy Free Running & Diagnosis.

Once you get Freerunning; try to sleep inside Extremely Heavily Barricaded(EHB) buildings.
Once you get Diagnosis; spend your FAK's healing other survivors.

Don't bother gathering ammunition until you get some weapon skills.
At this point you couldn't hit water even if you fell out of a boat.

I've just been living in the CAPD for a while and have quite a hefty supply of ammo. If either of you two have GPS coordinates I'll head for them.

We are a long haul from Foulkes Village.
If you head this way, watch it in the center of the city.
Things look fairly sketchy in the Ridleybank area.
Probably safer to go around.

Am heading that way now.

If you are looking for a hospital.
Try St Alcuin's Hospital, Gibsonton. Its barricaded to VSB.
You should be able to get in and out there.
Let me know where you are and I'll help scout for you.

ok need help seriously zombies broke in and i'm infected with 31Hp left at time of writing heading towards you, but have less life than action points.......

EDIT: i'm in luck i made it to the hospital you mentioned and i am inside with 11HP, i managed to find a FAK in the hosp and got rid of infection.....i then found 5 more with the other 15 action points now i wasn't dying.

Good timing. I popped in and patched you up.
Spend some time here filling your inventory with FAKs.

This will be your best bet on gaining experience.
Try to use a FAK on Braughpor'te (49/50).
He is only down one hp, but you get the whole 5xp points for healing him.

Once you get stocked on FAK's, venture out and heal zombies.
It's a cheap way to make exp. But until you get Freerunning & Diagnosis, its the path of least resistance.

Once you get 100xp, I would suggest you buy Freerunning.
You are more likely to find your way in and out of hospitals with this skill.
Also makes it easier to find highly barricaded places to recoup your AP.

You inadvertently picked a tough character class to begin the game.
(The consumer doesn't start with a particularly helpful skill.)

After posting my note, I looked back and someone had already healed him.

Too late i healed him halfway through your post and realised i wasted an AP. also i know, the civilian is wierd i had no idea

He is outside Cattle Bank (1 click South.)
Also a couple zeds in the area.

There are healing opportunities galore outside right now.
Just South and Southeast of the hospital there are about 5 survivors most of which need healing.

Get Freerunning next. That really opens your possibilities.

Don't buy First Aid for a long time. Yeah you can heal 10hp, but you still only get 5xp for it. Makes you do twice the work to earn xp. Trust me, I know. I started as a Medic.

He got zombified and is now wondering around without any GPS coordinates to guide him looking for revive points. Will try to get back on track as soon as possible.

I don't recommend coming in my general direction to you (South-West) as there's quite a few zeds down here.

I don't bother carrying a GPS.
Comparing where you are on the map is usually good enough.
Here are the maps I regularly use:

I typically use the wiki map, since it is annotated with RP's, etc.
That alternate map has some kewl features as well, such as the toggle for freerun lanes.

I found I'd been revived very soon after I made my post in fact.

They upped the barricade to HB again. Also you may have noticed i didn't want to go outside so i attacked you then healed you.
