Just wondering what is peoples...inspiration when getting a game-name. Obviously for people like Si it's quite obvious

Derivation of my surname, school teacher used to call me it, I used to hate it, loads of people called me it, I went "sod it" and adopted it as my nickname. I now quite like it ^^

Heh... Mine used to be Starbucks... Which was derived from me being hyper (like on a coffee high) and Kirby's Star + making money in Tycoon games Which was good ^^

DHR-107 is simply a name made up from my intials (DH) and a character called R-107 from TimeSplitters.

I am Si. It is short for Simon. It also stands for "Simulated Intelligence" because apparently I don't have any?

My original name was Dark Shadow for my apparent ability to move through shadows around school unnoticed and to pop up out of nowhere suddenly.
Changed it to Metatron due to my love for Alan Rickman who portrayed Metatron in Dogma (and yes, Alan was absolutely hilarious as him in the film, I suggest you see it).
Hawke is my current nickname which I drew out of the video game character called Hawke from Advance Wars 2 + Advance Wars 3. Hawke is the best character to use and the hardest to defeat when used correctly. He is quiet, calm in every situation and rarely portrays any emotion. Unlike every other CO in the game, if he wins a battle he doesn't say "Yeah!" or "Perfect" or doesn't even smile, he simply stares ahead with his stare that could turn a Medusa to stone. If he loses a fight he shows anger but still doesn't say anything, his speechbubble is always saying "..." meaning he doesn't show his thought. He also has the best theme in the whole game.

Currently considering changing my name soon despite me being best known as Hawke, I have recently come up with Espio which means "I spy" in Spanish or is a shortened form of the word Espionage which suits my new found skills at Spy which I am homing in.
