RORO - Roll on Roll Off. That means they don't turn round and the track on either side is one way. You can use the one way track to build huge stations with only one or two exit and entrace tracks.

People were using these stations in TT aswell. It was a very popular choice for stations.

Thats because you could have like 4 trains in the system at one station at once. But it does get confusing when you have like 5 tains on tne same track!

It's exactly the same principle in Loco as in TT, just Loco has more track peices.

That is what makes it more complicated! On TT tis easy coz u only had 1 level of up down!

I wouldn't say the priciple of RORO isn't any different. You build an in track and an out track. It's just how you line multiple tracks up, which doesn't make a RORO harder.

Yeah, but that only works with trains that have more than one type of carriage. otherwise you lose money moving nothing.

That's a fact for all stations. ROROs are designed to allow multiple trains to use very little track and to stop all the problems found at junctions.

What if yo never use juntions and just use Point to point railways? That seems the most cost effective way of mking money, but then you can only hev maybe two trains on th elin at once.

With a point to point you can only have one per track, which is more cost effective if you want a single train, you just do one track. However, it gets complex when you have multiple trains on it, a you have to create poassing points and such. However, with a RORO, all you need is two tracks (a loop) in one direction and you can have as many trains as you want (up to the point where the track actually becomes full, but who would have that?).

That's the thing, ROROs don't have junctions (they have a lot of one way signals, though), so there is barely any stopping.

I have come back to this game and noticed something. Can the AI go bankrupt? Because i cant seem to buy people out. That gets annoying. I have loads of money and cant buy out the other competitors! Its so annoying.

I think they have a better handle on money. And they have cheaper construction costs, I think. They can go bankrupt, they have a budget, though I haven't ever seen it in the red.

That practice is commonly considered illegal in the real world.

Not really. Walmart bought out sainsbury's. What the difference? If im a massive company and a smaller company is doing rubbish, i can buy out the company and infuse it with cash and keep it running. See my logic works.

No, I was referring to the corperate saboutage you want to do. You can't run a company into the ground.

The regulators are government controlled, and non-corrupt governments can't be bought.
