Similar to DHR... I've been having some really wierd dreams.
My most memorable dream was me being a Medic in a TF2 game (how ironic) but it also had Halo weapons and Half-Life 2 weapons... noticed that when a Scout attacked me with a Gravity Hammer and a Sniper used a Halo Sniper Rifle (left the trail and everything). I was healing Hellfire (who was my Heavy buddy) and we were dominating until he was sniped and I got stabbed in the back by a Spy (my death cam showed the name to be Metritutus). Really felt like I was being stabbed as well... until I woke up to find I had fallen on top of my music stand.
Another dream I had ended with me being stabbed in the right shoulder and me tripping into a lake... to which I sank and drowned (funniy thing is, the feelings were extremely vivid and real... looked absolutely amazing.... my brain must be using a 4870x2)
My last dream I remember was I was playing an organ in a church by myself... playing my usual collection of haunting pieces until my bro turned up in the church (drunk) and starting shouting and swearing at me... I carry on playing my pices until he comes up behind me and smashes my head with a bottle he was carrying... my head flops onto the organ's keyboard and sounds a C, C#, D, Eb, E, F, F# and G together. Ironically my bro says "Cheers bro" and takes a swig from the broken bottle and staggers away into the darkness and the dream ends as my blood runs over my eyes.

A challenge?
Simple to fall onto my music stand- it was folded up and by the side of my bed... so when I fell out of my bed... I landed back-down on my music stand which made a really nasty mark on my back and probably is what cause the realistic back pain I had in my dream...

Someone told me that dreaming is a form of processing data in how the brain is working out information that is needed to be kept or not. Though, i am still confused in how sometimes we dream about things/people that we've never even seen/heard before!

That's something that is widely accepted. Doesn't stop it being messed up, though.

I've recently dreamed that I was out and about around Gloucester with a special someone (I won't reveal who, it was a female human however). We first went to a really nice Italian pizza restaurant down by the docks then to the cinema in the mall-type area close to the karting centre. We had just finished seeing a film (the details of what we did in both the restaurant and cinema I don't remember) and we were walking back to the bus station when we were attacked by a group of youths. One put a knife to my neck and dragged me away from my... friend... whilst the other 4 grabbed her handbag. The one with his knife to my neck then proceeded to empty my pockets of my phone and wallet. He then proceeded to threaten my friend with his knife unless she kissed him so I stepped in between them and he stabbed me in the stomach. The other youths laughed and encouraged him so he stabbed me a total of 7 times in various parts of my body as my friend stood there in total shock. They then spat on my chest before walking away into the night. Last thing I saw before it all went black was my friend kneeling down crying and looking into my eyes whilst saying "Don't leave me..."
This dream keeps re-appearing in my nights. Opinions?

I beg to differ. I do not fear death. I dream about dying, I think about dying, I talk about dying, I am just Death himself.
Death is nothing to fear from, you should expect it to come for you eventually.

Maybe for some things but I've cheated death twice in my life: I have nothing to fear of death. I do not fear pain, I do not fear death. When I really think about, I do not really fear anything... I dream about almost anything and I fear none that I've dreamed of.

Ohhh. I often get direct vision dreams, but they are tiny.
