Start off with MS Paint. Real men always know how to use MS Paint.

I used FireWorks for mine, it's simpler than PS and is more vector based. Other programs you could use are Paint and Gimp (which are free).

nooo use gimp its awsomely good and completly free and LEGAL lol with prity much every thing ul ever use in phot shop sat there ready 4 ya lol

i pretty much got them all and i'd say CS3 is teh best graphic tool i've ever used. it may be slightly complicated at first but you get used to it
