My A$$, most desktop computers come with a 80GB hard drive or larger.

The advert also has alot of people gobsmacked around the laptop as the pc world salesperson is describing it. I think the aim of this was to demonstrate how 'great' their laptop is, but we all know the truth. They're gobsmacked because the guy saying stuff actually used the word gigabyte, well done. What'll come next, they might actually be able to describe a AMD not as a P4.

And their latest slogan "Best of Both Worlds", nope, "Worst of Both Worlds" is more like it, and im talking about shops and hell, not shops and net.

Their adverts ate just stupid, they prey on the gullible, but they could get seriously done by the advertising standards agency for misinformation.

Bleh, I can get a 500GB HDD :P Mind you, those 2.5" drives are helluva expensive, and you can't get *that* much on 'em. 40GB is crap though, fair play.

i dont think they whach many advert even there own nerly all of the other compter they have adverts for come with 80 and my bros laptop from 3 years ago had more hd than that and it also technicaly better than all the compters in our house and the advertised pc world crap even though we got it from there

Yup. Even if 2.5" costs a lot, they can't say they're giving more than nearly every one on the internet, as I don't know any new ones that have LESS than 40GB! In fact i don't know any WITH 40GB!
