So i wanted to update anyone if your not watching on England's latest scores,

South Africa won the toss and decided to field first,

South Africa’s 10-wicket victory in the second Test at Headingley has really given them a psychological advantage over England, i reckon England are now bricking it

England 1st Innings
203 all out

England 2nd Innings
327 all out (I think)

South Africa 1st Innings
522 all out

South Africa 2nd Innings
9 for 0 (:lol:)

To the best of my memory,

I think it was something like... on the second day, England had only batted for 5 hours, and fielded for 25 Or it may of been the third day.

It is now 2.0 in tests too South Africa. Can England pull something out of the bag?

Ur in luck cus i happened 2 hav bin watching the cricket quite a bit as well.
I think new zealand were rubbish against england in the test series lol. Sidebottom hasnt really been delivering lately. I do not understand tht wen he was unfit 4 headingly y they chose pattinson who no1 knows and is absolutely rubbish. They cudve chosen hoggard. I wudve bin happy if they chose harmison and i wudve bin exstatic if they chose simon jones.
Michael vaughan has been unlucky this series. The lords pitch died b4 england cud take all 20 wickets. At headingly, he lost a gud toss and most of his attack was tired from the last game. (anderson deserves a medal from his last performance ). So i think england can pull it back this series cus things seem 2 go their way at edgbaston

Yes they were rather crap werent they. no, he hasnt has he I think there hasnt been as much swing at Headingly with all the cloud cover. Yes, Simon Jones is showing lots of promise ey? Hoggard im for. Not so much Harmison. But i think he's making a comeback. Yes, Anderson prevailed did he not? Yes, agreed completely, i reckon Prince will bat out another good innings and i think unless we take early wickets in the third test we are screwed.

I watched Durram vs Somerset last night in the Pro 40 competition, I think Trescothic would be a highly recommendable selection as no one seems to pull of opening the way he does, I think Alastair Cook is just too slow and has a rubbish strike rate. Trescothic can really pile up the runs opening.

Yeah, i think simon jones should come in the next match dare i say, for stuart broad. Dont get me wrong, he's a quality bowler as batsman but he dusnt really get as many wickets as anderson. GET PATTINSON OUT!! ffs, bring back sidebottom (or hoggard). I think that if they do tht then they should hav a really gud chance at edgbaston as long as we win the toss.

It's ashame trescothicks retired internationally cus he wud be a really gud asset 4 the ashes next year.

Agreed, Pattinson should get the hell out , hes not wanted. Bad decision.
Sidebottom, on form, gets as many wickets as Broad, am i right? Plus Broad is an asset to the England batting side.

Im bumming the amount of swing he's getting but i dont think he bowled so well in the second test.

yeah, sure anderson is a tad expensive but he gets the wickets and thts what matters in test matches. It wud be ashame 2 get rid of broad especially with his batting ability. It's difficult when players like sidebottom and broad havent bin doin well. I agree tht they should be given more of a chance b4 bringing in some1 else (broad mostly). But i think broad should be given the boot if simon jones is coming in. Im really not sure tho.

Completely agreed with that actually, Broad should be given more of a chance yes, but then again i would sacrifice him for SImon Jones Yes, Anderson is expensive but he does take wickets doesnt he!

Yeah i bat in the middle order but i have no idea what my average is lol. I shud really keep track.
If i dont bat very well then i always hope my bowling dus better. I can never do both well at the same time, it's either one or the other lol. Im 17 so i play among the adults in the team 2nds. Wat do u get out 2 mostly? Im always caught lbw playing across my stumps (im sh*t at leg glances)

I always can find the gaps, no problem there, only been caught three times in the whole time ive been playing? What are your favourite shots?

I love Straight driving, hate sweeping, pulling is my best shot, cover drive, clipping it of to the boundary for four Etc. Ill list em all sometime.

yeah, my favourite shot is the square cut lol. So tht wud make me a wicket keeper. Im a bit hit and miss with it tho wen im going against a high-bounce bowler.
I like pulling and back foot cover drives cus im prone 2 edging the ball wen i play on the front foot.
Im a big fan of the advance-down-the-pitch slog as well but thts also hit and miss lol.

Ummm, well, the back foot cover drive is a nice shot! I play that now and then, but im very technical - most of the time, so i try to keep it front foot first.

I favour the legside when im play twenty over games. Offside for above that.
Depends on how im feeling really Mainly offside though.

oh i favour spin bowlers cus it gives u more time 2 think about what shot 2 play whereas it's just instinct 2 the fast bowlers. I prefer playing leggies 2 off spinners tho (dont know why).
Also, spinners are easier 2 slog lol.
