The credit crunch is happening all over the world. The primary reason is the skyrocketing price of oil, but there are lots of other factors. We haven't been hit too hard here, but the cost of food is a bit steep atm.

Its the media tht makes the credit crunch sound a lot worse than it really is. They make it sound like one day i will have 2 buy a sandwich (ham 4 example if u want me 2 be specific ) 4 the prize of a Bugatti Veyron...plus tax.
The truth is ive barely noticed any change in prices. If anything, theres more special offers in super markets.
Besides, if we have 2 spend more money, dusnt tht mean we'll all make more money?

Milk and dairy products have gone up quite badly. I think milk has tripled in price in the last few months (or something like that).

I think fuel prices are much more important than milk prices. It may just be me but i can live without milk but i need fuel 4 transport which i think is much more important. Unless of course cars will one day run on milk.

Yes, but milk prices are just an indication of what's happening. Quite a lot of other foods are going up in price similarly.

For instance, a Thorntons caramel slice was £1.60 1 month ago, and now it's £1.80.
