MMos aren't for me - I don't like the idea of subscriptions, pluss I don't like repetative gameplay, which is what most of them are (kill rat, move, kill rat etc.)!

Well, I would vote if I were able to. The only mmo that i have played (sort of) is MxO; it started to look intresting before my damn stupid motherboard broke, lets hope that there will be another 'friends and family' type activity on MxO in the near future so that i will actually be able to play.

LOL, unlucky. I must say, from what i've seen, MXO breaks the repetativeness mould, so I might like it, if I could be bothered with subscriptions. Next Friends and family trial i would like to try it.

Cool, that's a great use of the MarketPlace. I'm hoping that they come available soon.

How can you reserve something that you won't be sure will happen. Anyway, this belongs in the marketplace, so if we could get back to the topic...
Two big MMOs are City of Heroes/Villians and Everquest.

Everquest (2) is a huge MMORPG, like loads more it is set in a fantasy world with magic and elves and you have to go on quests and make money with trade and stuff. Do a google for it and you'll find loads. Made by Sony, I think.

the main problem with everquest is that people have killed them selves because of it. Apparently, when u die, ur account is completely deleted. Whats happened is some people have devoted there life to it. Loosing the jobs. Barely being able to pay the money to keep the account. And so when these people loose there accounts, they loose all of there online friends, which is most of there friends, so they are lonely, and have nothing, they dont want to start again, so they kill themselves, because life is not worth living anymore. My bro showed me a news report on the internet about one boy who killed himself. On the report it says there has been other deaths from it. You can probably find these reports by searching on google

When you die in any MMO, you just loose money/items etc and are returned to a certain spot on the map. I'm not sure, but yu might have to wait a bit for to come back to life.

Yeah, most MMOs you just loose a bit when you die, like item, stats and time. You do not loose your character.

MMO's are bad news. If there are too many people playing, it can slow down your PC so much you dont know what is going on! Or is that the point?

Yeah, it does depend on the PC, a fast PC will be able to cope with more information, so will play MMOs better. I think MMOs have higher minimum specs that they would if it was teh same engine in singleplayer.

Yes, but if it was the same game, just singleplayer, it would require lower specs. Even if it would require a slightly different engine, that wasn't the point of my post.

ARG!!! I know that! I'm just saying the integral part of it's gameplay, not the community, would require less power in single player!           :protest: :protest: :protest: :shoot3: :shoot3:
