I think it should be a film, it's a great book, though the storyline is slightly childish.

I think there already is a film, though I could be wrong. It is also a childrens book and therefore you would expect the storyline to be childish as you've put it.

There was also already a LOTR film. Yes, I am aware it is actually designed to be childrens book.

This is the best book, didnt like LOTR too much found it boring. They could make the hobbit into a TV show though. Cos it is like a load of stories in a total series, so it would fit neatly.

The hobbit is the best story in all of the middle earth stories.

some parts of it are very good like the battle at the end and the bit when biscuit, i mean bilbo plays "riddles in the dark" golum

but there are some naff bits as well.

something that i have noticed is that with the lotr films certain sections of the film actulay move you more than the books.

moveas in fealings not physicaly changeing the possition from which you started

LOL, LOTC references. Don't tell me you're doing "The Hobnob" aswell (that is Hobbit, right?)

That's just the way films work, they emphasize certain points, as they aim to get people emotionally involved with the films. They get better reviews if they can put emotion in the reviewer.

Maybe you should finish LOTC first?
