Which is pretty sweet... I'm not expecting to get far with only one days practice tho!

Good NEWS brawl came today
Bad NEWS is that it doesnt <LOOK MA, I AM SWEARING> work ¬¬ my wii cant read the disk! daves works fine tho no problem ¬¬ some people on onm have had problems but have since got it working im going into GAME 2nite to get it replaced for hopefully a working copy if not im going ape

WOOOHOOOOO DAY EARLY!!!

Quick brief of each character as I play them for the first time

King Dedede:
Very slow, very powerful. Triple jump is enormous... FS is Ok, not absurdly powerful tho!

Metaknight:
Reasonably fast. Not very powerful directional smashes however. Final smash is EXTREMELY hit and and miss...

Ice Climbers:
As usual, medium speed... extremly strong smashes. Alterations to Nana's brain makes them even more formidable

Pokemon Trainer:
Squirtle: Fast, light and very good aerials.
Ivysaur: Reasonable ground play, with a "tether" recovery.
Charizard: Insane power, but extremely slow.
I can see people using the switch move to avoid final smashes.

Peach:
As always, awesome edge quarding and awesome aerial play. Foward smash is weak, but down and up are decent. FS is deensive. But word of warning, If you KO someone, they come back and can eat the peaches you haven't touched yet!

UNLOCK: Ness

Mario:
Average all rounder. FS is amazing! Guaranteed KO's

Donkey Kong:
Triple jump is abysmal... Fairly powerful smashes, and a decent (ish) FS.

Link:
Again, decently powerful. Awkward foward smash, awesome triple jump. Fantastic FS (except you can only hit one person)

Samus:
Fast, fragile... Decent hitting power. Not nough to KO Meta at 100ish% tho.

Kirby:
Gained some weight back! YEAH!!! He kicks ass again! Aerial moves and recovery are simply amazing. Using Kirby is like using an old friend. Hes back to what he once was! Gained a lot of speed over melee too, so whatch for this guy!

Unlock: Marth

Fox:
Fast. But slower than Melee. Still absolutly kicks ass. Definetly one for the experienced players. Blaster has no recoil, and reflector is shorter lived.

Pikachu:
Fast, and decent smashes. Easy to control, tho his triple ump can be troublesome.

Marth:
Light and strong. Speed is a little lacking. Tip of the sword is very much stronger than the rest of his sword blade.

Diddy Kong:
Confusing triple jump... He doesnt grab ledges if you manage to get near them. All his moves are kinda low powered, but hes fast enough to avoid most damage.

Pit:
Not so good on the smashes, but for general damage, best character so far. Absolutely INSANE recovery! Come back from miles! decent weight.

Ike:
Slow, but incredibly powerful. Dodges will be needed to combat his insane amounts of power.

Yoshi:
Not brilliant. light weight and lolw power with not a lot of speed. Serious practice will be needed with him to make him competitive...

Zelda/Shiek:
Good. Shiek still has a lot of power, but Zelda is more bufed this time around and is far more powerful than in melee...

Ness:
Buffed and with additional power to his Yoyo! PK Thunder and STARRRSTOOORRRMMMM!!! are also extremely good!

Bowser:
This one I've been kinda dreading... hence me leaving it for so long.... Hes actually... OK! Very powerful, but OMG the slowest and heaviest character so far. Decent aerials surprisingly, but he really shines in his ground game.

Wario:
Medium speed, medium power. Not brilliant moves, but he has potential.

Olimar & Pikmin:
Difficult to judge. Excellent potential when you work out the correct moves for pluking and throwing etc. Very difficult triple jump tho. Its hard for the teather recoveries.... But when you get him going, he is VERY hard to stop...

Unlock: Luigi

Lucas:
I was never really going to like this guy... afterall, he threatened Ness' existence... However. He is pretty damn sweet. Decent strength smashes, his up in particularis extremely strong, decent aerials too!

Luigi:
As always, excellent. Very good in the air and a very good ground play. Ultra slidy now tho! Wasn't expecting that!

Well... Now I guess I'm off into the world of the SubSpace Emmisary... Wish me luck!

How'd you get it a day early? We saw some friends in Gamestation getting it early because they knew people at the store

Well...

I now have everyone bar from Jiggly, Toon Link, Wolf and Sonic...

And I'm well into the SSE.... But very very lost... I now agree with the name of the level being "The Great Maze".

Some very very good FMV sequences placed in the perfect places let you know exactly how everythings happening with all the characters at any one time. I missed saving someone tho... So I'm a man down (Even tho ive got most of the others, he was one of my better ones).

Wifi was... decidedly laggy when me and Si tried to have some matchs late last night. It should improve tho!

Right, I've played it for a couple of days, heres my important points IMO about this game:

1. WFC tends to have a problem I like to call Wii Chess Syndrome... there are times you can spend ages waiting for other players
2. 5 letter names.... R.I.P. DAVI
3. The level builder is in dire need of WiiMote input, that would make it easier.
4. "C-Sticking" is still in, so you can annoy your friends when playing! (FYI. "C-Sticking" is the term I gave to moving the screen with the c-stick, it got named cos it really annoys DHR)
5. I know 3D is cool, but when "C-Sticking" is it really necessary to make the icons so 3D that you can see around the file on the main menu when doing it.
6. It's still not the best game ever. Audiosurf gets that cos it says so.
7. Maybe a little overrated but still very fun.
8. Skillers hates Smash Bros. Brawl cos it's stopping me from making the website
9. I still need to get the hang of getting the controls right, but at least I dont mistake a for jump when i need to survive
10. Wheres the guys voice gone for the title?
11. How the f*** does the Wii Remote controls work, trust me thats button smashing
12. Why give us the ability to name our friends on WFC if you're just gonna remove the name and replace it with theirs when they add your code back, its utterly pointless

13. Kirby sucks more than a vacuum cleaner (lol)

On a diff note, me and Ash did okish... in the tourney... xD Met some very... bizarre people, and some cool ones to! Neither of us made it as far as we'd of liked, but the whole thing was fun, and thats what matters...
