Version 8 has been released. I don't know how long it has been out for, but I'm downloading it for somebody right now. Version 8 Professional is a very good piece of software and is getting thumbs-up on every review I've seen so far so hopefully the Free Edition will be equally as great.

Update: It has a slightly more simplified installation and setup procedure, and the user interface has a pretty yet Vista-ish style, and isn't as cluttered as it's previous version. The updater is unobtrusive and simple.

Well I got it yesterday

And Installed it today, nd ever since ive had problems...

It wont activate with the registry code that it inputs itself, and it has also blocked all use of the network ports I use for the 360, and I cant work out how to unblock that information... Anyone have any ideas to solve either of these problems?

Don't use 360.

¬¬ That doesnt help Aaron... I want to play online still, thi is the only way I can do it cheaply.

I still cant register it, so it says im going to run out in 29 days... It wont let me change the registry code, and i cant hit register for some reason O.o

I would uninstall and reinstall. I used to get this problem in AVG 7.5 many times when building PC's for people.

On the other hand, are you sure you downloaded the free version, not the trial of other version

AVG Free is 45.6 MB.
AVG Internet Security trial is 51.6MB.
