I have been telling my parents that they are still not getting the most out of the TV by playing these games. Grand Theft Auto 4 supports 1920x1080 but it does not actually run at 1920x1080, it runs at about half of that (similar to FEAR pixel-doubling option)! And Burnout Paradise City runs at 1366x768 but still looks incredible - my dad thought this looked the best out of all the games for the crispness of the picture on screen...

I've been looking for a good Blu-ray to demonstrate to them how good 1080p actually is when you run it native. I was originally looking for Planet Earth but I couldn't find a good deal anywhere. I know, you get what you pay for with Planet Earth, even the best deals on Ebay are going for about £40, which is the price it is selling for on HMV and Play.

I then started looking for Casino Royale on the Internet. It was a little expensive. I was suggested to try Gamestation in Gloucester as they sold it for £7.99. I checked and it was £9.99 when you buy a PS3 gane otherwise it was £19.99. Then I tried HMV and it was £25. CEX was £12 second-hand... I don't want second-hand.

I checked Ebay and found a seller with 100% feedback (has also got almost 4000 feedback) and it was £7.99 with £2.49 delivery taking it to £10.48... well... I had a letter through my door a few days before saying "£10 off for being an Ebay star" and I also got this in an email, it was a coupon code...

Basically, I got Casino Royale on Blu-ray in 1080p for 48p.

:D

Very nice, as I got half way through that, I was going to suggest "if you want to show of a HD TV, get a good action movie, like Casino Royale" Heh.

That should be fantastic on there!
