I am in need of some serious help!! I ahve windows stone age (windows 95) and i desparatley NEED my pen drive to work and the stone workings ionside this old fossil won't read the new fangled electrontics in the pen drive. Is there any thing i could do just so i can read it. I have resently ibnstalled finepix viewer for my camera wich runs through the USB port and the pc reads that ok. So why not my pen drive??!! I need it to do my gepography corsework now or the monotone robot will eat me alive!!!!! (I didn't realy call him a monotone robot)

go to the makers of ur pendrive sit and look for win 95 drivers for ur pendrive and hopefully there are some

Oh dear, Win 95 doesnt have native USB support. I think when you installed your camera software, it may have added support for that USB device. If this is the case, it is likely that finding the drivers for your pendrive (either on a disk that should have come with it, or on the manufacturers website) and installing them.
There will be drivers, as only XP (and possible a couple of slightly older ones, I wouldn't know) have "Plug 'n' Play" support.

I have the oppisite problem wiv my graphics tablet, it needs DOS to run, lol, anyway, yeah look for the drivers. And to the grim, yeah right, lol.

If you want DOS to run, I suggest using DOSBox! It's a DOS emulator available at http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1 ... Runs most DOS applications. As for USB drivers, they were mainly 98 onwards (or 98SE). Have real problems with that at work.

DOSBox is a good emulator, though I'm not sure it works for drivers.
If you could tell me the name of your pendrive, I may be able to find the correct drivers.
