Hey guys. Some of you may have noticed that I was using a tablet PC recently.
This was because I was handwriting all my replies on MSN Messenger.

What a brilliant idea these things are! If only Windows XP for Tablet PC Edition wasn't so clunky, and if only the price dropped a bit, and if only they were all just as thin as the Dell Latitude XT, then maybe they'd catch on! I really want to use it again - it was real fun to make accurate drawings in MSN Messenger

They would be such a dream for creating some web graphics in Photoshop...

I would quite like a tablet PC, personally. I think they are useful.

I've heard rumours that Apple are making one. And not unsubstantiated, too, they came from Asus (?), who make Apple's mobo hardware.

I've not heard any such rumours... but I have heard of the Axiotron ModBook, which is now up for sale.

Windows XP for Tablet PC Edition is clunky because software just doesn't work on there properly. It constantly hangs when opening applications, and handwriting/OSKB support isn't enabled in all applications. For example: IE6 supports handwriting, FF2 doesn't. Some applications will fail to install.

Those Modbooks are nice, but expensive.
