I'm fed up of phpBB3. Unless something changes drastically and it becomes remotely usable I'm just not going to use it at all.

OK, phpBB3 is horribly slow - checking IMG tags seems pointless to me, especially since the check fails half the time. I also get random invalid form error messages. Oh, and blank screens.

The slowness is partially, if not fully, attributed to the server we're on. The IMG tags are checked to make sure they don't exceed the size limit I've got. I guess I could remove it and it might not check it. I was trying to stop it stretching the forums, but it only stretches the post anyway.

The invalid errors are because an update didn't like the old styles for a few lines of code. We fixed that but it has some after effects that have stuck. With those you just need to refresh and try again, it will usually work. Infact, I think this is a clientside cache issue.

The blank screens are some form of data corruption from the amount of work we've done on the database in upgrading.

I can confirm that it is definitely not a client side cache issue!!! Think of the number of computers I use at work to connect to the site...

Hmm, OK. It might be a server side cache issue, but I dunno how to fix that. It's certainly getting less prominent as time progresses.

I had the problem again while trying to reply to my Offline for a bit topic. I cleared the cache after I got the error message, tried again and got the same problem...

I just got the same error in the "you" topic, just hit submit again and it worked. It's kinda sporadic.

I kept trying and trying and it just didn't work :'(

Hmm, that's odd. There is a purge cache in the ACP but it doesn't work (the URL is wrong, and entering the right one doesn't work, it misses the /forums/)

Yeah, I think we've corrupted the install a bit, lol. Maybe a format and reinstall? xP
