This thing is pretty good (with a slight exception of I can't use online play because I can't create an account because its bugged (apparently simonpcook has a space at the start or the end or has non-alphanumerical characters), oh and pressing @ on uk keyboards triggers the console, which makes entering emails harder.

Has the same feel as UT04 but will more ubered up graphics and physics.

Edit: since 3pm when I found that bug, it has been fixed, bring on online play!

Lol, I think that was a definate needed fix. That is pretty terrible...

I have yet to play the demo, I may give it a go, I don't know, though...

We were playing it at 2560x1600 in maximum detail mode with 20 bots and it was running very smoothly.

Yeah it was pretty awesome. Graphics can still barely compare to crysis though they are still pretty awesome.

Sounds like my comp will be able to run it nicely then (lower res, similar graphics, only CPU significantly different). Then again, UT has always been a sweet runner!

An 8800GTS is nearly as powerful as an 8800Ultra, the machine you tested on.

Considering the difference in resolution they can run at I cannot imagine yours compares to Aarons... Also considering just how smooth Aarons makes even Crysis run on full graphics.

Well tehy are both 8800s... and the difference in resolution is mostly down to ram (look at GTS 320MBv640MB results). However, while the Ultra does have more power, the GTS will be able to run it perfectly smoothly...

You seem to have missed my original point that Aaron said his comp could run it smoothly, and that meant that I can run it smoothly. Also remember I do have a smaller monitor...

Still there is a huge difference. I can't imagine your card running it smoothly at Aarons resolution

Which means you fail.
