When I say game of the year I mean PC Game. I also meant the singleplayer part.

Also, UT3 will be a great game, but I think Crysis brings more to the table. UT3 may have a better multiplayer, though (hey, it's UT).

Crysis certainly looks set to be PC game of the year. I reckon the only major rivals will be BioShock and HL2: Episode 2.

There could be others though.

Bioshock looks pretty interesting, apparently if you get into it it's like a good novel.

Ep2 will get good scores, but won't be game of the year, it's nothing really new, some nice looking features, but nothing spectacular. A good shooter session.

Crysis is definitely set to something. It's one of the games I am actually looking forward to.

I saw a video from one of Crysis' cutscene type moments from Incrysis. It's pretty cool. Watch the cutscene here.

I think Bioshock is the only real contender for game of the year against Crysis.

EDIT: I've also learnt from Incrysis that the Crysis demo is being released on the 25th of September! :D

i have got bioshock on the 360, easilly the most stunning game available on it and definately the greatest game ever released. it will be game of the year, crisis looks good, but being serious, bioshock is on a completely different level to any game that has ever been released or will be for a long long time.

I don't want to see this thread be turned into a Crysis v Bioshock flame war. Create a seperate thread for that. This is for Crysis talk only. Besides, Crysis is more rpg than fps, and therefore should be judged differently to Crysis. You cannot really compare them. This is like comparing Civilisation 4 to Half-Life - you can't.

I think the first Crysis was meant to be a Bioshock!

Anyway, it will be interesting to compare, Crysis has a lot of different things going for it. For a start it is the best looking game. EVER. I think Bioshock wins on story, but some of the stuff Crysis does is pretty novel (fully destructible environments, lots of customisation etc).

Oh, and just so you know, Crysis is PC only! WOOT!

That should be good. Would be nice to know how freeform it actually is, aswell. Hopefully, seeing as you're a soldier, you actually start with good weapons.

They've delayed the demo!

Still, if it means the game will be better, then I'm all for it.

This is actually quite interesting, there hasn't been any official announcement other than that on the inCrysis website.

It is seriously worth it if you have the means to obtain a key. That's really all I can say. It's amazing, and the beta is a real credit to Crytek.

On the contrary, Crytek has been taking legal action.
