It's been in BETA such a long time I've forgotten, anyway;

Gmail doesn't need invitation now, you just sign up to a google account and you get an email account, I think. Not many people know this. However, there are now millions of invites in circulation, so it is really easy to get one (look on most forums and people are offering them, ive got 100 if anybody wants them).

As for space, they're gonna keep increasing it at a rate I don't know (bout 4B per second, I think). That's part of their world domination of electronics plan.

GTalk will improve, with a slightly better interface (such as telling you how much unread mail you have) and some other features, such as file sharing. It will still steer clear of the clutteredness of MSN, however, and stick with simplicity.

Anyway, those are my thoughts/predictions.
