The current outstanding game of the year so far (for consoles), Twilight Princess has set new levels of intricacy into the LOZ series. However, this has not come without teething problems.

The game (for the Wii) is a perfectly reflected world compared to the Gamecube version. This is one simple reason. Link is Left Handed. In the GameCube version this is true (he weilds his sword in his left hand) but because of the geometrics of the Wiimote, the game had to be reflected because more than 90% of users use it right handed.

The start pf the game is self explanatory really....U walk around for a bit, training and getting used to the controls, you learn the art of Grass Blowing and how to Use a basic sword and shield. Using the grass, you can call an eagle or your horse depending on which grass u blow.

I am currently thoroughly enjoying my time on TP and am about 14 hours into the game. The main story is of that the King of Darkness has come t rule over Hyrule. You must combat the forces of evil and save the 4 Lake Spirits...But an untold transformation awaits those who enter the Twilight realm....

Well. It seems I have nearly dun....Well...i say nearly and then find out i have to do another side quest...??

After finding the 3 "Fused Shadows" (long story, no really, it is) and fighting my way past a giant plant, a fire monster and a underwater Snake, i find out that I now have to find the remaining 3 sections of the "Mirror Of Twilight".

The first section of finding this involved killing a fossil thing...that then proceeded to float O.o.....and then fighting a giant chunk of Ice...I know, it sounds farfetched, but thats what I had to do.

And now...well, now im lost, I'll go back to Telma and see if she knows anything :p She usually does Laughing

Weapons at this point are as follows

Master Sword
Hylian Shield
Catapult (Slingshot)
The Gale Boomerang (ah yes, Link's trusty Boomerrang)
The Bow
Bombs (as always, and with ranged artillery if used in conjunction with the bow and arrow)
Iron Boots (Ok, not technically a weapon, but bloody useful)
The Spinner (very random Laughing )
HookShot (another trusty Link weapon)
and my latest Weapon, the Ball and Chain...:p

Most of the weapons are collected in the dungeons and most have to be used against the final boss. For instance, the Gale Boomerang (the item of the first dungeon) is required to defeat its main boss. The get the weapon however, it usually involves beating a smaller boss....Where the other weapons really come into their own...

Yup, sounds like classic Zelda to me! I really should get it, though I'll probably be hopeless at it!

Try and substantiate your claims/opinion before denouncing something randomly please.

Not all Japanese art related games stuff is rubbish. They can have intricate storylines which roleplayers revel in.

This game also appears to have a decent graphics engine and generally good reviews all round.

Japanese art based? It's a long running series "The Legend of Zelda", made by Nintendo for nearly 2 decades now, I think.

Looks pretty similar to that sort of art.

And it looks as though the game is made by a Japanese company (wikipedia Razz )

It's made by Nintendo. Who are Japanese, yes. Though I may point out that other big companies are aswell, like Sony.

Oh, I thought it was first done in 89 for some reason...

How far through are you (like percentage wise) and how much gameplay have you had out of it so far?

Dont think so Grim...

Well ive played for about 25 hours. Its been worth it currently :D The game play is fantastic, easy to shoot, move swing your sword and use an array of items. And i have almost no idea how far through the game i am. Im finding the last shard of a broken Mirror :? So i should be nearing the end soon maybe?

Ice Statue Blizzaria is one of the easiest bosses ever tbh....
