Expect smug b*stards to be in school on Monday possibly boasting about their brand new PS3's.

Released this Friday, it could be the Biggest selling console out of the big 3 before christmas.

Currently the XBOX 360 leads this race simply because it was released more than a year before the Wii and Ps3. Howeverm going off monthly purchases in Japan at the moment, the Wii is the current market leader. Razz

The PS3 has some very interesting new featues. Blu-Ray DVD's and an internal Hard Drive, and support for most (i say that loosely) PS2 games, it should be a winner. With its new tilt controller (I wonder where they nicked tht from?) and a few good release games, it is looking very good. Jaw dropping graphics and smooth gameplay are what people are buying this console for.

I will not be getting a PS3 until atleast '09. Purely because A) ther are far to expensive at ?425 and B) GT5 isnt released until then! Very Happy

And Grim, I will delete any posts u make bashing this Consoles graphics. U only have the right to post in any Wii related topics purely because you own one. All other Console discussion u are banned from Razz

Started what? And no I'm not because I have an even view on the consoles, Grims is blatently PC orientated and is thus invalid tbh...Razz

Anyway, back to the PS3, F1 Championship edition looks stunning and GT:HD looks to be a good downloadable demo. The "Home" feature of the PS3 is similar to the Wii menu and the PS3 can be used to browse the net.

Can't ban me from discussion on my own forum...

anyway, PS3 is interesting, mainly for the Cell processor... Though you are right, I'm interested in the computing side of this mainly.

Also, it won't be the best selling for 2 reasons - understocked, overpriced, Wii will pound it to the ground, with 360 sales staying level.

Anyway, my final point PS3+360=PC wannabes! WII FTW!
