Well The second "This Gen" console is to be released in Europe on Friday 8th December. I wont have one on launch, but one of our mates might have one...

Seeing as the PS3 is still a while off and Nintendo know wht they are doing, i hope to have a console after Christmas.

I do however know there will not be full support in Europe on Launch. Most of the extra add ons like the internet Weather and News channels will not function until mid 07. Game downloads will also not be available until this time...

However, the hardware will be working, with both Wii and Gamecube games being able to be played.

The console comes in at just ?180 which a A LOT lower than the XBox 360 or PS3 (which isnt released until February next year).

I like the fact that the Wii's specs are terrible in comparison, but they have just focused on gameplay and making it affordable.

Wii does indeed have the best graphics to power. IMO it will also have some of the best games ever designed for consoles.

TBH, I don't think consoles need good graphics. They need acceptable graphics good games and low prices. I personally see no interest in PS3 and XBox360, however I see a lot in the Wii - it's so different. The others are just trying to be computers, and, well, I have my computer for that! xP

OK, the Wii is awesome! I just got one and it's really fun!
