OK, it has 4 cores, but it's not native. I knew something would be screwy about these chips. Again, it's all marchitecture crap from Intel. The description on Overclockers UK almost sounds confusing... "With four cores and high scores", then at the bottom, "Dual Core Technology". Awesome. (link)

Waste of money (almost ?100 more than the X6800). Don't buy it unless you encode multiple HD movies for a living or something.

There's going to be a price drop at the end of April that should send it down to the current QX6700 price of around ?650ish

That's still a lot for a processor. Even the Athlon FX processors never cost that much. Then again, AMD is cheap.
