No, the eMac is the worst one they make, I think. The Mac mini may be slower, but that's not it's point, the eMac is their budget version.

Nah, I doubt we'll see the ePod. Apple knows it can make a fortune of the gullible who buy the rubbish, expensive iPod, just because it's "cool"!

i no, i may be really likin apple at the mo, but the iPod, c'mon, its SHITE, well expensive, its good until u mention the battery and the cost. A problem wiv apple, they dont want many gettin into there technology, its kinda like the communist countries, VERY hidden, and how the only way to get into a mac mini is wiv the pallete knife. The macs in dixons have at most 256mb RAM, even the power mac only had that, they are keeping themselves to themselves. This means it costs a lot to get one upgraded, and serviced, and there is the one price for the mac, cos they are the only ones who really sell them.

Right, you need more than books to program an OS! It's extremely complicated and takes years!

Yeah, but they're relatively simple - the program doe sit mostly for you. With an OS you must know the computer commands, how FAT and stuff works and so on. Even with a Linux base, you'd still need years to create a decent one with GUI.

Making a version of Linux can be relativly simple, you can download the Vanilla Kernel and a GUI, so all you have to make is the apps :)

ALL you have to make is the apps! LOL, yeah, and that's so easy!
