What a Race we had in Turkey! After Massa (Ferrari) put the wrong ferrari on pole, he ran away into the lead. After chaos at the first corner, where Fisichella span out and took out Raikkonen, Speed and a few others, Massa simply dissapeared. A safety car on lap 15 ment all the top 6 pitted. So Ferrari had to stack Massa and Schumacher in the pits, Fisichella had already pitted for a new nose on his Renault, and did not need to pit, so Alonso managed to come out in second place. Ferrari were meanwhile trying to work out a way of getting Schumacher past Alonso and into the lead (Though it would of been obvious team orders if Schuey had gotten by, Massa was 14 seconds ahead). Into the last few laps, Alonso's rear tyres started to grain, and Schumacher caught him up very quickely. However, the young Spaniard somehow managed to hold on to second place. By just 0.081 seconds. Massa won by 5, having slowed down alot on the last lap to make sure Schuey could win if he got by...

Massa won, followed by Alonso, Shumacher and Button.

On another note, Imola (one of my favourite tracks on games) has been dropped for next year. As has the Nurburgring. Spa will rejoin the ranks, thus giving us 17 races.

I want imola back especially, coz i know it so well!

Suzuka has also been dropped, for replacement by Fuji Speedway. Both wanted ot host the Japanese GP.

It is an awesome track. It held what was one of the best races of last year on it, where Kimi Raikonnen won fomr 17th! By passing Fisichella on the last lap.

And Toyota want to everything better than Honda. I personally want Suzuka on the calender, its a real drivers track, and its hard on them.

Suzuka looks better IMO.

It is. Its a proper tough track. The sequence of "Esses" at the start, are really difficult, get the first wrong and it knackers u for the rest. The hairpin is easy to slide wide on, and the last section is a very high speed techical part. The long curve near the end (the 130R) is one of the best corners in F1, Alonso entered at 211MPH last year over taking Schumacher.


From the looks of it, Fuji will be shite in comparison!

Hmm, it looks like Suzuka is a far more complex and flowing track from the diagram, with everything appearing to lead into everything else, whereas Fuj looks like "straight, fancy, straight, corner" etc.

All the drivers love Suzuka. Fuji is lame tbh. Suzuka is one of the most flowing tracks ever. every corner leads into another really well. Fuji is just another Stop start track...No character.

Kimi Raikonnen steals pole fomr Schumacher in Italy! By 2 [b][i]thousandths[/i][/b] of a second! Thats just 0.002! A stunning last lap attempt nettede Kimi the pole. Nick Heidfeld is 3rd for BMW and Massa 4th for Ferrari anhead of a damaged Alonso.

Its timed trollop they werent next 2 each other....

Shcumacher is retiring. After winning his Final Italian GP (where Alonso retired form the race) he is hanging up his helmet at the end of the season.

And end of an Era, but he has made a few mistakes (notably Hill 94, Villeneuve 97 and Monaco quali this year...), but these can be looked obver when he is the man who holds all but one F1 record.

However this still leaves alot to be decided. Who will partner Massa at Ferrari next year? Everyone thinks it will surly be Raikkonen, as all the top guys switch places. The next few years will be truly awesome, with guys such as Kubica (3rd in just his 3rd GP 2day), Hamilton (This years GP2 Champ), Rosberg (Williams' wonder boy), Kovalinen (Alonso's heir at Renault) and a few more.

XD Woot for everyone! Brilliant race. Massa and Raikkonen making many mistakes. Ferrari leave with 1 point from the first race... Kovalienen got unlucky at his third stop, and ended up going from second to tenth, which became fifth as people broke... Bourdais had a stunning race, and was looking good for 4th until his engine blew with 3 laps to go. He still counted as being classified so still got 2 points for 7th place.

Overal was a crazy crazy race... Accidents and attrition were very high all round. Only McLaren and Williams managed to get both cars to the finish...

Well that must have been an eventful race, I count 5 engine failures and more crashes. :/

Glad to see Hamilton out on top, though.

Yeah, maybe... I'd like him to win it, but I'd love to see Kovvy and Massa have more chance tbh... :/

Canda turned out a fantastic race! Robert Kubica won his miaden F1 Race for BMW Really only because Hamilton smashed into Raikkonen in the pit lane because of some safety car confusion! Stupid Red lights

Coulthard was third, behind the second BMW of Nick Heidfeld... GLock a sensational 4th for Toyota, being hard chased by Massa across the line!

Fucking immense race, and Kubica is leading the world championship!
