The multiplayer demo was released early. The Steam forums are filled with quite a few ragers. I personally enjoyed it, however I've only managed to play as the Alien and the Marine thus far. It would be good to try and get a fair few people on.

Played it, just now after trying to get it working since 1:00am last morning. Reformatted my pc to an SSD, which came in the morning was the first game I downloaded. Only had the chance to play as aliens, was strange couldn't get the hang of it like I used to far too disorienting. Saying that I cannot wait until the finished game is out.

The match-making system is an utter shambles unfortunately. Enjoyed the game-play though.

It takes a long time to find / join a game. But i did play it like 30 mins after release so I'm guessing not too many people had the game then.

I thought that, however the developers have posted some news saying they know there's an issue with it and that they will fix it.

Predator needs buff

I've been playing it on and off all day and I think its great fun.

Each species feels like youre playing an entirely different game, yet it is pretty well balanced.

The marine is very old-school, he has NO special abilities or attributes whatsoever. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing because I always seem to win when I play him. My only problem is that his movement speed is a bit slow.

I think I'm in love with the alien, running at insane speeds (ON THE FUCKING CELING!!!) and jumping around, pouncing on people like a maniac is beyond fun

I've hardly had a chance to play as Predator though, but from what I have played, and seen others playing, it seems to have a crazy skill curve, and the pick-ups are way OP.

Depending on who buys the game, maybe we can get a dedicated server up for people to play on.

I like and am sorta used to the marine but he's really vulnerable to trophy kills etc

Alien is ok although i never properly looked at the controls and trying to do the kill animations only works half the time.

A game with no dedi servers is the most shocking decision you can make for an online game.

The demo doesn't have them but the full game will apparently, alongside matchmaking.

Type this into internet explorer and it will allow you to pre-load the game before Friday if anyone bothered to preorder it. Its about 4GB in size.

I didn't pre-order it because I was waiting on the reviews. However they seem to be generally positive.

Unfortunately no. Unless you can find the right app ID, however I have no idea how to find that out.

I have no idea if this will work if you have not pre-ordered. This did nothing for me although I have not purchased Napoleon Total War.

oh just a warning. This will NOT show up in your active downloads. It probably wont even show you the download speed etc however it will show the amount thats been downloaded in the common folder of steam.
