Just completed this, took about 4 hours. Gained 4 levels in the process (36->40). After looking on the Borderlands Wiki it would appear I missed a couple of side missions, which I may go back to later (they are ones you find around, instead of Bounty Board missions).

It's good fun, and retains the humour of the original game. The enemies are your standard zombie fair, with a few more interesting zombie types, which help make it fun to play. The combat is fast as always, and certainly works quite well with zombie hordes (there's a few L4D style crescendo events where you have to wait for something).

One annoyance was the lack of New-U stations (except the one you use to access the DLC), meaning that you have to trek a fair distance back and forth between missions and you can't save your position in the game (say you get to a new area and need to quit, you'll have to trek back to that area again when you load the game, rather than just teleport). Not a huge problem, as the map isn't that big, but it would have been much better if they'd have added one New-U station at the start of every area.

If you liked Borderlands, this is certainly worth a buy, though perhaps when on sale (I got it in the XMas sale - £2 off).

Heh, I was playing on playthrough 1, so I was always higher level than the zombies.
