This topic is dedicated to the pranks I've pulled on my colleagues.

The biggest prank in the office right now is:

Placing a teabag under the telephone receiver and sticking it to both sides with double sided tape...

So here's a few I've already done:

Can't remember the last sort of prank I pulled. Hm........

change your flatmates desktop background to a really scary picture is a popular one in my house i ended up with the creepy girl out of the ring D:

Change it to the image of a broken monitor, and disconnect the mouse and keyboard.

Or the good old SS desktop and make icons invisible, and put the screenshot as the background, watch them WTF as the icons wont work.

There are 2 i have

1. screen shot your background then open powerpoint, paste it in the fill the screen but make sure it looks normal. Then on custom animations dissable the 'click to go to next slide thing' Now go into slideshow and they wont be able to get out unless they press Esc.

2. Go on word or powerpoint or the likes. Go into auto correct and change the word 'the' and 'and' and other common words to things like 'gays ftw' and 'i like ponies'. Next time they write 'the' it will come up as 'gays ftw'. They probably wont notice and will print it all off

One of the best desktop pranks is:

Take a screenshot of the desktop including all the icons. Paste the screenshot in the Paint or something, and save it as a BMP. Set the image of the desktop as the desktop background and make sure to center it (not stretch or tile). Then right click the desktop and hide all desktop icons (via arrange icons menu).

Took my workmate ages to work out.

Another great one is replacing important shortcuts like Email or Internet with a shortcut to a shock site (meatspin or mylazysundays for example) then replacing the icon with the original/real shortcut icon.

Also, sticky tape on the underside of an optical mouse. Needs to be the slightly translucent stuff. Makes the cursor go crazy.

Another one... small bit of tape covering the ethernet cable connectors... they got me bad with that one. I was in the server room checking patch panels and switches before I realised.
