I got no problem starting up a new toon to play with you guys, as I know how much you all hate subscriptions.

Harry!! I miss you!! Also willing to give this a shot again tonight after sort of not doing much yesterday (we are all at about Lv7) but it really depends when I get home as I got some server work starting at 5:30 probably lasting for a couple of hours. Might end up going to bed especially with Scott Pilgrim keeping me up tomorrow night lol |

Update: Since there is some interest in this, I spent £35 to copy my main raiding character over to the free servers to act as a 'mentor' for anybody who is interested... However I moved myself over in 'heal spec' and currently nobody on the free server can make AA mirrors for me to change my spec!!! Update 2: Yesterday's patch notes mention that the EXP bonus provided by mentoring has now been increased, so this is more worthwhile

as cool and OP as you'll be, i think £35 is a bit well sudden at this point in time. I'm gonna see if it works here, as if this client works at Anna's your likely to have a new playmate who is looking forward to PvE |

It's a one-off fee and it's only for people who have active Live subscriptions (to the non-free version of the game) so it wouldn't apply to yourself. It also only lets me keep the character on the free server if I maintain the Live subscription otherwise they downgrade it to Bronze/Silver membership. In my situation that would unequip all of my gear and downgrade all of my spells hehe. |

Anna cannot connect to sever it fails to login each time, (i did try logging in myself each time but anna's laptop wouldn't do it) |

Check firewall. It uses a HTTP loader on port 80. Make sure you activate your account for the free version before trying to login with your expired Live account. Update: Seems like it's a bug (lot's of problems here) Also managed to switch Faeward over to melee spec and in classic me style I forgot to invest points in a certain OP healing ability, so I might have to respec again lol. |

If people want to continue from where we left off the last time... We could do: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Blackburrow_Timeline http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Stormhold_Timeline Since they are connected to Antonica and provide better quest rewards, better loot, and more achievement experience than the standard overland zones. I get back around 7pm tonight so hopefully, if people want to play for maybe a couple of hours we could get all of that stuff completed. Update: http://everquest2.com/free_to_play - this page was updated about 30 minutes ago and it is now easier to sign up if you haven't already. I wonder if it still spams you about upgrading to gold all the time though? |
