1920x1200. It's a HP ZR24W (IPS panel, looks amazing) Still have my old monitor, just wanted a new one that wasn't the cheapest most awful Dell panel in existence, plus more space is always nice. This was actually my Christmas present, except it was out of stock until last week, so I've only just got it. |

It's a nice big one  I do miss my thirty... Actually I miss my 24 too. I'm stuck with a 16. But this 16 inch is 1920x1080. |

It's the screen on my Dell Studio XPS 16. I chose the top model at the time (the one with a BD-ROM and 1080p LED screen). The screen part was £300 on top of the standard 1366x768 screen but I am glad that I chose this one instead of the lower resolution one. |

Bought some new speakers and... Spoiler for Turns out Hawke was right...:
Also, very definitely recommend Logitech X210s - absolutely incredible speakers for £25. |

Yeah, it's annoying you can't get an IPS/PVA monitor with LED backlighting for any reasonable amount of money (I believe the Apple ones are IPS with LED backlighting, but they cost twice as much as most monitors). |

Hmm not bad. £920. If I had a little bit more money... I would get one. They do appear to be the best on the market for pixel density, image quality, etc. We'll see. |

The pixel density should be the same as all the other screens at the same size/resolution

I don't know of any other 27 inch 2560x1440 monitors. Update: OK I found some others but it looks like Apple are the only ones doing LED backlighting. Update: not turning up today. |

Ah, I wasn't aware they did one of those, I just thought it was the standard 24" and 30" screens with the 27" being the 24" res. |
