Of course I won't be seeng any of those benefits.

This is purely for EQ2. For those times when I run multiple clients and for when I want to record with Fraps and not lose too many FPS.

I bet you bought a fresh copy of 7, and are dual booting 7/7. One for everyday use and EQ2, and the other just for EQ2...

Well it's kind of the only thing I use my PC for :)

I run a couple of EQ's at a time, with ACT (Advanced Combat Tracker) doing traces on my log files at all times, and sometimes some Fraps :)

Their prices go up and down constantly to be honest, just like the price of RAM. Watch the prices carefully, and when they drop to a reasonable level, get one before the price soars back up again.

They are never at a reasonable level. Hopefully we'll see some proper price drops shortly, though I believe there has been a problem with flash memory supply/demand in the past few years.
