I know we have a rules thread, but I'm creating this thread to highlight some key points.

Our servers are there for fun. If you think you're getting raged over something/someone, then go away and calm down for a bit (hey, we all have bad days). There is no point making everyone elses live's worse because of your anger.

IF you feel you have a valid reason to complain about the conduct of someone on our servers, ask an admin. If it's someone in our clan or a reg, POST A TOPIC HERE. Or, alternatively, if you would rather try to resolve the matter privately, email the official email addresses for complaints:

Now, on the other slate, don't deliberately wind people up, however fun it is, especially if you see them getting raged because of it. However, people should also be able to take a bit of teasing. If you can't take it, don't play, as you can't have fun without people poking fun at each other once in a while. :P

I hate to be this frank, but if you can't take a little bit, don't play. Continual teasing is however bad. Don't.


I just want to set out some clear lines here as to what goes and what doesn't. We want a friendly atmosphere, not a totalitarian raged mess. If you have a problem with this, post here.

In my experience it is better if you resolve matters privately with the staff, PMs and Steam are good for that. The reason for this is that forum posts can quickly decend into flames and actual truth is hard to gain once that has happened.

Also, remember to say what server, when it happened and what map it was so we can find the SourceTV of the incident. After all, SourceTV doesn't lie. If you cannot provide this info, even approximately, we will be lead to beleive that you are making stuff up/in the wrong and trying to get someone else in trouble.

Also, when Met says there is joke teasing, he is right. We do it a lot here, it's all in good fun and most people I know are aware of it and take as much as they give. I you feel there is a real problem, contact the staff, we will help. It's bad for us having people arguing.

I'm pretty sure it does. You can hear mics even when Alltalk is off definitely.

I that's the case, though, if team chat is being used, take screenies/your own demo.

Team chat does show up, because it shows up to spectators doesn't it? Source TV is a spectator.

We don't have admin set up on HL2DM, we have to use rcon.

I really hope those second three are fake :/

And I think this post is aimed at me mainly :/ It IS annoying when you ask someone not to kill you while you are trying to take a screenshot and they do it anyway.

I actually tried to aim it generally to improve attitudes on the servers, however it does suck when people do what you described above, however it is the internet and stuff like that happens. :(
