We really need a venue. Has anyone got a large garden in Glos that we could build a fire in and have fireworks?

Our house in Leamington has enough room for a fire, but not the fireworks. This is a student house so building a fire is kinda dodgy though:P

Any ideas would be good, I would be bringing cake and flapjack if that's any inspiration.

I'm having Dave / Will and 90% sure Scottie (! what a noob) down for new years and we're thinking about planning somethinggg.

I don't really know any of you guys but I'm sure it would be nice to chat and tell you all the reasons why protoss is bs and I'm the best LoL player in the world.

Yes Scottie, you are right. Sorry for the confusion I end up having lots of screen names as my favourite ones are always taken:(

Yeah me too, but what should we do? Where? How many people want to come? We need some form of plan involving food and drink.

OK, updated lists of people:

Yes: Schlurbi, Aaron, Lamsey, Belle Morte, Skillers, Nikki
Maybe: Door, Met, Hawke, Siggs, Harry, Si, Dave, Kyle, Wynney, Dave, McWill, Scottie

I believe that Schlurbi is coming to the UK on the evening of the 30th, I'll be picking him up and he can stay at mine that evening. The following day, we can do something for new year's, and then I think Schlurbi will be staying with Aaron for a bit.

So, the question is, what are we doing on the night of the 31st. I know that Nikki is working until 6pm that night - anyone else got any time limitations?

If nobody has a better idea, you're all welcome to come to mine - there's a grassy bit outside my place where it might be safe to do fireworks, and I could investigate whether or not a bonfire is a possibility. Based on the experience from the Thorpe Park trip, I think I could accommodate a dozen or so people (so long as enough folks bring sleeping bags etc). I live in Wokingham, though, so it might be a ballache for everyone to get here. I'm happy to pick people up from train stations (preferably Wokingham, Reading if not).

I'm afraid I'm only a Maybe, Lamsey, sorry. :(

As I put on the previous page, I'm interested but cannot conclusively say anything more right now.

I would be very happy to join you all for party times will arrange transport for me and Skillers possibly can provide transport for maybe 2 others. (My car is broken atm, but hopefully will be fixed by then.)

Still need to know where we're going.

I'm ok with trains or lifts - but I need to know where to head to asap.

There would be 1, but then Si <I TOOK A HERP TO MY DERP> and can't move as fast, so we'll have to spread the events out to 2 to compensate :blamesi:
