I am surprised to not see this on our active topics! I watched this on Saturday and I am going to watch it again tonight. It's an awesome film. It really makes you appreciate life, and it shows that nothing is stronger than the will to survive... Really awesome film. |

When I saw the trailer it looked like a guy who was stuck down a crevace with his arm held in by a large rock. And the title of the film was 127 hours, implying that he was stuck there. For 127 hours. It just didn't sound like an interesting film.

It really is an amazing film Met. I wish I could tell you more but it's a real experience. Many people walked out because they couldn't take the tension. And that was before he cut his arm off. Update: When I say many, I mean about 4 or 5. |

Most of the people going in to watch it are aware of the true story behind it I believe. I'm pretty sure that would be on the back of the DVD case when it comes out. Welll.. OK just guessing. But if you want spoilers... It's good  Update: Oh yeah, I'm not watching it tonight because my friend can't make it. |

It wasn't a known story to me until about 2 hours before I watched it when someone told me. But I think people go to watch it BECAUSE he cuts off his own arm
