Post subject:  New Doctor Who series
Thoughts?

I thought he was pretty good (he's crackers but not a complete fruit cake). The episode was decent as well in my opinion. Later episodes should be very interesting.

Spoiler for General preview of the rest of the series at the end of the episode:
Looks like Daleks, the Weeping Angels, the Cybermen, and what appear to be vampires will be showing up. Hopefully it'll be good.

Was pretty good, though think it's probably going to get better. Nice to see a distinct lack of present-London in the preview, that gets boring quickly.

Spoiler for In the preview, did anyone else notice...:
...that the Daleks appeared to have the Union Jack below their eyestalk? Seemed to be WW2 era.

Yes, I pointed that out to some others in Mumble. Churchill is in it too, and there appeared to be Spitfires going up against Dalek vessels in space. However it could also be a German plane, I'm afraid I can't tell.

Weeping Angels are awesome. And they are going to have more powers than we've seen before (and for all we know so far, they are psychic, can move really fast, and can kill you in a single touch) so you're not safe from them just because you can keep your eyes open and looking at them.
Also rumoured to be the same 4 angels that we saw in Blink back for revenge, as it is shown in Blink that despite them looking at each other, once the bulb goes out they can't see it each other and thus move unhindered once again but rely on their psychic abilities to find prey in darkness (or just guess and head in that direction). If they could see in the dark, they wouldn't have all 4 of them been able to simultaneously attack the 2 heroes without covering their eyes.
