Anyone else watch this? Was rather good, though I felt the ending was a bit poor.

It's on iPlayer if you want to watch it.

Erm, no :/

It's a 2 part sci-fi "horror" movie thing on the Beeb.

Ending kinda sucked, but I liked the rest...ish, although the convinient fact that all the important characters could see was a bit too much of a coincidence

That's because the ones who could see became important >< They weren't important until they could see. Except the main main character, but they gave him a good reason.

But I was a bit annoyed that it wasn't explained why his dad could still see, and how the girls could still see

They had probably not been watching the light show or something, like all the others who could still see ><

Yeah, but if it was as simple as what the guy who taken prisoner did, which was basically close his eyes and put his hood up, you'd think there'd be millions of people who could see AND there was like, an entire hemisphere that could see surely?

Finally got round to watching this (it has been on tape for ages). I enjoyed it, and thought that the Triffids themselves were particularly well done.
