So hey, I need some help. I want to remove the white background from a logo and replace it with a black background. However, the logo is aliased and the JPEG compression really hurts it. Here is the logo: Here is the A zoomed in to 800%: Here is the white background selected (threshold 15, aliasing selected, no feather): Here is after the white background is removed, and replaced with a black background: How do I make it blend without the white parts of the blue logo? THANKS IN ADVANCE. |

Hmm... Managed to do something by inverting the colours, duplicating the layer, inverting the colours on the new layer, and applying a layer filter. |

Colour to Alpha in the Gimp under the Colours menu can make the background transparent as well if you like. |

Sorry, I did try colour to alpha, but it removed too much of the logo (the grey part was very transparent) |

Ended up making this. I think it's ok but it's not blue |
