Hmph... those little sticks don't work on me, I'm far too powerful. You need something much stronger than that.

There's no such thing as being too powerful, it's technology, not magic ;)

Hmmm so memory loss, the forums breaking and MIB have something to do with piano... interesting.... if only I could remember what...

Conspiracies are never intended to be easy to grasp.

Depends on the conspiracy.
Looks like I used a piano to break the forums then I forgot about it as the MIB turned up and wiped my memory.

A piano broke the forums? WUT!?

Well a piano is rather heavy...

Yes, but that doesn't mean it can break the forums :/

Like I said... I don't understand your conspiracy and simply put some pieces together.

This is a weird conspiracy.

Aye... I don't even recall how it started... you seriously have used the memory stick on me.

Right then, I've been starting to feel a lot brighter recently, and have thus been forced to admit I'm not 'that bad' at piano.

However a big issue for me is that I sometimes, urm, forget to practice. >-<

My piano teacher said it would be good for me to try and get my Grade 8 at Christmas, which means I need to practice more. A lot more.

So, anyone got any suggestions as to how I can prise myself from the computer to go and play more? And any tips on actually sitting at the piano for more than ten minutes before going to do something else? I'm a tad lazy.

Well, I suppose you could say it is that easy...

45 mins comp, 35 mins piano, 45 mins comp, 35 mins piano.

Hmmm, ok, that covers a schedule of some kind, I can use my watch alarm for notifying me.

However, how do I get myself to just play for 35 minutes? I have a habit of wondering off and doing something else. Everything is a distraction. >-<

enjoy what you're doing, because otherwise you will find it difficult to stick to the schedule. And 35 minutes isn't really that longif you think about it ^^

Find some music you want to play, not music you've been told to practise.

Get a set of music you enjoy playing/want to learn to play and just practise them in any order you feel like.
If you want to do Grade 8... you're going to have to practise those 3 pieces a lot. I've got the Grade 8 piano book and personally I find the pieces challenging. I'm sure if you practise the pieces a lot you can easily do them but it will take a lot of time and practise.
Set a schedule, like what Wynney suggested. It will keep you busy.
