So... I'm sure you've heard of LulzSec. If you haven't, they're hacking and leaking stuff (http://lulzsecurity.com/releases/). The question this (Comments and debates welcome) |

US government's gonna tear them apart. At the very least one could argue it exposes security flaws. Data leakage I think personally is bang out of order. |

Never was particularly fond of them, seemed rather stupid (and very badly done to "expose security flaws" - releasing lots of data is not good practice). Now they're just DDoSing, which is pathetic. |

I'd be okay with it if they were just hacking people who deserve it, but they hacked Minecraft and I just don't understand why. I don't really see the Lulz. |

Wasn't even a hack, it was just a straight up DDoS. Which is especially stupid seeing as Minecraft is renowned for DDoSing itself. "Hey, look at us, we DDoSed this small indie dev who regularly DDoSes themselves!" |

Also failing to see how any of it is remotely funny. |

Wynney, at first they were actually hacking and stuff, but now they're just DDoSing relatively small game servers - LoL, Minecraft, EvE-O login servers. |

LulzSec Press Release: http://lulzsecurity.com/releases/1000th ... elease.txt Couple of good points here. Just because you don't know whats being hacked doesnt mean it isnt. |

But Hacking and then telling doesn't make it better or legal. It's still bad, it's still annoying and it's still not funny. |

People get hacked all the time, it's nothing new. You're a complete idiot if you're on the internet and think your information is 100% safe. Atleast other hackers don't run around going: "OOH LOOK AT US! WE GOTS YOUR PERSONAL INFO! TORLOLOLOLOLO WE CAN TAKE DOWN GAEM SERVERS CUZ WERE SOOO SMART AND LULZY!" |
