It's the Athlon 6500 (Kuma) which is a 2.3GHz dual-core, easily overclockable to 3.3GHz using the stock cooler. Sounds pretty good.

The voltage did need some ramping though and it was above 1.4, and considering the chip is too new for the temperature monitoring software to detect properly it's pretty risky.

Hmm, true, but it is a pretty insane overclock for a stock cooler whatever way you look at it.

I agree with you actually, expecially since it passed the benchmarks with no errors (until 3.4 anyway).

Being 2.3GHz standard I would imagine it being a midrange of AMD's chip prices?

I don't follow AMD prices much atm.

They're all very low and I would bet on it being less than £100.
