At this day we in Norway got to experience something we never thought would happen in our little safe country.

This day is the WORST day in Norwegian history since world war 2.
I dont know if you got to see this on the news in all the other countries.

At the 22nd of July 2011 a Norwegian called Andreas B. Brevik let a bomb go off in the middle of the government building in Oslo. The bomb had a radius of 1 km.. The whole country was in shock!
But the most unbelievable thing was that this was actually just a distraction...

at around 18:00 same day the terrorist went to a youth camp at an island called Utøya.. There he shot and killed over 70 children/young people from 14 -30...

This is the worst massacre Norway has ever seen..

The feeling I had that day... I can´t describe it.. Never been so scared.. My dad.. my family, friends and myself all live and work in Oslo.. And we all could have been hurt or died.. To think a bomb went off was such a shock. And the following hours in fear unknowing who did it.. I knew people on that Island.. I knew people who survived. I didnt know any who died.. But again.. It coulda been anyone.

To think about how much hate a man can have..but to remember all the love we can give.

The following days Oslo was covered in roses.. It was magical..although tragical. But as a nation we stood up and stood together instead of letting the terrorist ruin us.

At least they got him, just a shame it wasn't sooner.

The Police wasn´t fast enough..Because of it. The terrorist had all the time in the world to shoot the kids.. If they had been there before alot of lifes would be spared.. Been soooo much about this in the news

This was terrible. I don't watch the news but everyone was talking about this at work for days after it happened.
