00:25 - [TCHS] Nannal: anyway while i was playing AoC i met jinrei, Jinrei was awesome. He was fairly creepy and like i do with reb, he made lots of jokes about his friends penis sizes and what not. so one day he mentions that he has several tickes to pc gamer showdown (i think he said he won them somwhere) so he offerend them to his friends who aside from one, didnt want to go. I said i would come and bring reb (who he knew from the vent channel) and rennac (who he didnt know). since he couldent mail them ( would take too long) we said we would drive down, meet him and get them from him at the event. so to sum up, we went to get free tickets to an event from a creepy guy we me on the net who we didnt know who often made both gay and pedophillic jokes. also there was the time i got myself kidnapped (sort of) which i guess makes a better story but lacked relevance

Alright.

My grandmother had this boyfriend called Dave or "The idiot". He was loud,obnoxious and generally not a very nice person. Both he and my grandmother set up and run stall at steam rallys and the like. He had a long run of rallys coming up and as my grandmother was preoccupied with the rally on Anglesey (he doesn't go to that one because the welsh are .. welsh (Duck yeah Cymru btw))

So, since I had two weeks off he offered me 140 pounds for two weeks work (it sounded fairly good at the time, I was about 13). I said "..errm, yeah I .. guess" and it was sealed. bag packing montage goes here.
so we set off, The Idiot and I, first thing was first, buy the stock from the wholesaler. then shift said stock into the back of a lorry, job between two people, Unfortunately I am not two people. Then we (he) got lost, shouted, ripped a map at one point I think and proceeded to be a jackass all the way to the site (which he eventually found). pitching up was not too bad, he got mad about being put in a different spot but that was about it. when the stall was set up, he would regularly fall asleep/wander off/go get more beer without warning, so I had to watch the stall from 10am-5pm. When he was awake and at the stall i had to do the most mundane tasks (like clearing up the shells of the boiled eggs he had just eaten and discarded. In the time I did get spare I got talking with the woman in the stall next to ours. She was quite nice but she did have two of the most vile children I have been forced to put up with. She asked me why I put up with him and I said "Because I'm getting paid, have no way home and technically he is family" she countered with "your getting short-changed, Ill take you home and he is a twat".
On the third and final day of the rally, as we were clearing up, I cleared up the entirety of his stall then helped the next stall over. as soon as they had everything in their van I was told to clamber into the back of the van and shut the door's, knowing this was my only chance to escape any time in the next two weeks, I did so. we drove a few minutes, I got out of the back and into the front with her and the vile children, phoned home to tell mum what was happening (she was pretty fine with it (but then again as a child she wasn't much better)) and then we drove most of the way home. stopped a night in a car park at some service station and then I got home.

since that happened I haven't had to talk to him, also my grandmother and he split up and he lives elsewhere now, everybody was very glad that this happend.
