WHY DOES IT HAVE UNDERSCORES WHERE THERE SHOULDN'T BE UNDERSCORES!?

Underscores, where?

One of the wordpress functions is update_usermeta, but the documentation has it as update_user_meta, which doesn't work. Same for a few other functions.

xD I'm guessing they haven't been keeping the codex up to date

Or they just wrote it wrong in the first place.

Interestingly, it did have the actual function on the page once, under something like see other, but the rest of the page (including the examples) used the incorrect one. I spent ages troubleshooting it
