I have had enough of my computer. It's going on Ebay. Forget 24 inch monitor, I'm going to refuse delivery when it gets here. Decided that the computer takes over too much of my life, I need to be doing other things.

OK, this has come as a bit of a shock. Maybe you should accept teh monitor and bundle it with it? Make it look even better?

I was having a bad night. All related to Windows reinstall and being hacked in to. This is what happens when you invest in an insecure system!

So I take it that means you're not selling it?

Yeah I changed my mind again (I know, you're surprised). I was worried sick last night that buying the monitor had been a terrible waste of ?620ish. Could hardly sleep. Probably felt that way because I hadn't had enough sleep, add the fact that my Windows died on me.

I know you've changed your mind about gettig rid of you computer, but I though I'd join in with the anti-computer thread.

I have a stupid computer (well laptop) that keeps restarting itself and then freezing for no apparent reason. I just get a blue screen for a second or 2 and then it restarts, tis v annoying. If it has to go back again it will be about the 4th time it has needed repairing, so I think I'm going to stick with the v old desktop that I currently have at uni (cos at least that doesn't decide to do things on it's own and it can double as a heater)! Actually if anyone knows what might be wrong with my laptop this time and thinks they might be able to fix it let me know.

Yeah, that computer is quite good, though I would get a better keyboard and mouse for it as the ones it used to have were rubbish (about 10 years old, would keep locking up etc). And the screen isn't very good (same era as the keyboard and mouse). Though it does work, cos I built it . It's even case moddded by me!
