It seems that after many crashes, I am declaring my PC dead. It refuses to boot unless its multiplier is set down to 6 (should be 9.5) so it's time for a replacement.

(What is now low end ish) tech is nice and cheap

AMD Phenom II X4 3.2GHz
Appropriate Mobo
4GB DDR3 RAM
All for a nice £150.08

Thought it was cheap, so threw in another 4GB RAM and a 802.11n PCI card and a grand total of about £190ish. Should come tomorrow. Except Windows Performance Index when it's built.

I am maybe almost certainly falsely claiming that low end and budget are the same words in this case.

My current PC is dead. After many many attempts trying to turn on the PC using the power button, it failed. It's last cry was this:
