Intel's new CPU shizzle. Worth a look at if you're into overclocking or thinking of upgrading. Extremely power efficient too- even at 5ghz one managed to remain under 70 degrees on an average cooling unit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't sandy bridge Intels version of Fusion?

Also... I seem to remember there being something in sandy bridge to stop overclocking, or did they remove that in the end?

I believe what they have done is you can overclock it, but the overclock only kicks in when it's in Turbo mode (ie being stressed). Until then, it remains at standard stock speed.

It might be that they prevented multiplier changes, but otherwise let FSB changes, which limits overclock potential, but still allows it. It's quite common these days.
